In the rapidly evolving landscape of flagship smartphones, Samsung's Galaxy S24 lineup is poised to take the lead as one of the first major launches of the upcoming year. Anticipation has been building around the trio – Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra – which is expected to introduce a host of AI features and enhancements to compete with industry counterparts, including the latest Google Pixel 8 series.

A recent leak, courtesy of reliable tipster Ahmed Qwaider (@AhmedQwaider888) on X, has provided insights into the potential AI-driven capabilities of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Notably, the top-tier model is rumoured to employ on-device AI technology to facilitate real-time translations during calls, setting it apart in the fiercely competitive smartphone market.

According to the tipster, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is slated to debut a groundbreaking AI-backed circle search feature. This functionality, designed to streamline the user experience, automatically conducts searches for circled words.

The device is expected to feature an advanced voice recorder that can recognize and identify up to ten distinct voices. This innovative recorder aims to assist users in translating conversations and creating concise meeting summaries.

Moreover, the Galaxy S24 series is rumoured to leverage on-device AI technology to offer real-time translations in 14 languages during audio calls. Impressively, this lineup could potentially provide enhanced translation options in 35 languages without the need for third-party applications, according to him.

Samsung enthusiasts can mark January 17 on their calendars, as the tech giant is anticipated to officially unveil the Galaxy S24 series on that date. Both the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra are rumoured to run on the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, accompanied by 12GB of RAM.

In contrast, the Galaxy S24 is expected to be powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset.

The Galaxy S24 Ultra is projected to feature a Titanium frame, while the regular and Plus models may boast an aluminium armour frame.

Notably, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is speculated to be marketed as Samsung's inaugural Generative AI phone. The South Korean tech giant has reportedly filed trademark applications for 'AI Phone' and 'AI Smartphone.' The Ultra version is anticipated to incorporate new EV battery technology, promising an enhanced battery life and further solidifying Samsung's commitment to cutting-edge innovation in the smartphone industry.
