First ever Higher CC Bajaj Pulsar N250 now in Bangladesh

Bajaj Auto along with Uttara Motors launched the first groundbreaking higher CC Pulsar N250 Motorcycle in Bangladesh, solidifying its place as the go-to choice for motorcycle enthusiasts in the country.

Indian High Commissioner of Bangladesh Pranay Verma, graced the inauguration ceremony as the chief guest along with Matiur Rahman, chairman and managing director of Uttara Motors Ltd.

Nayeemur Rahman, head of business planning of Uttara Motors Ltd, Sameer Mardikar, divisional manager, International Business, Bajaj Auto Ltd, top executives from various corporate houses, high officials of Uttara Motors Ltd, and well-wishers were also present on the occasion.

High Commissioner Pranay Verma congratulated Uttara Motors and Bajaj Auto Ltd on the launch of the Bajaj Pulsar N250 motorcycle in Bangladesh, which showcases the strength of both India and Bangladesh in the automotive sector and gives further impetus to our shared priority of industrial growth and partnership across the value chain of production.

Verma underscored that with its competence, geographical proximity and improved multimodal connectivity to Bangladesh, Indian industry is in an ideal position to meet the growing demand for automobile component products in Bangladesh, including through new partnerships and JVs.

He noted that the strong presence of major players of the Indian auto industry in Bangladesh, who are contributing to Bangladesh’s economy by generating employment and revenue, is a reflection of the mutual complementarity which can be leveraged for mutual growth of both our countries.

Matiur Rahman, MD and chairman of Uttara Motors, said: “Two decades ago, Bajaj Auto and Uttara Motors had launched the first Pulsar and changed motorcycling in Bangladesh forever. Since then, there has been a succession of Pulsars which have set new benchmarks. The demand for high-end motorcycles is rapidly increasing in Bangladesh."

Rahman extended his appreciation to the government for granting permission to ride motorcycles with higher engine capacities, specifically up to 375 CC engine capacity on Bangladesh roads.

"This decision marks a positive development in the country's transportation regulations. Uttara Motors offers a varied collection of Bajaj motorcycles in Bangladesh, but the Pulsar N250 will cater to a growing segment of customers who seek the power-packed performance of a sports bike," he added.

The arrival of the Pulsar N250 mirrors the evolution of the young Bangladeshi riders, who seeks a motorcycle of sporty character, yet rideable in everyday city conditions.

The Bajaj Pulsar N250 is loaded with class leading technology like a powerful & refined 250cc oil cooled engine, an assist and slipper clutch, an LED projector headlamp, infinity display, Stylish Exhaust with Throatier Note, Monoshock Suspension, tubeless tyres, and a street fighter naked design, making it a true sports bike.

The engine produces 24.5 PS of power and 21.5 Nm of torque.

The hydraulically operated dual channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) has a 300mm disc at the front and a 230mm disc at the rear.

The tank can hold 14 liters of fuel, making it an ideal vehicle for a long ride.

The Pulsar N250 includes a USB charging option conveniently positioned near the tank flap.

At the time of its birth two decades ago, Pulsar pioneered sports motorcycling across the globe. Today, 20 years later, the Pulsar badge has become synonymous with the sports biking phenomenon, and with the launch of the all-new Pulsar N250, it is once again set to change the sports-biking landscape in Bangladesh.
