UN: Russia blocking Kherson flood aid

The United Nations on Sunday accused Russia of blocking humanitarian aid to Moscow-controlled areas of eastern Ukraine that have been devastated by the flood caused by the Kakhovka dam blast.

New Monetary policy: Interest rate cap lifted, policy interest rate up to tackle inflation

To tame the ongoing inflationary pressure, Bangladesh Bank lifted the lending interest rate cap on Sunday while raising the policy interest rate. It also decided not to sell the US dollars below the market price.
