Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi on Thursday assured the people that the gas crisis would subside by January.
The minister was addressing the inauguration of the third Ceramic Expo Bangladesh at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB).
He said he would soon hold a meeting to resolve the problems that industrialists and businessmen were currently facing in the management of industries and businesses.
“We want to identify the problems and give a draft of it to the prime minister,” he said, adding that the government would work sincerely to resolve it.
The commerce minister said the ceramic industry had immense potential. Ceramic products produced in the country met 85% of the demand, and ceramic products worth $1 billion were being exported to 50 countries, he added.
Tipu Munshi said necessary assistance would be given to traders in order to further increase production and export of ceramic products.
