Week-long event B2B Investor Japan 2023 begins in Japan

A week-long B2B event started Tuesday in Fukuoka, a fast-growing city in Japan for business.

Haison International, an investment advisory firm of Bangladesh in cooperation with the Japan-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JBCCI) came together to organize the events in the three important cities of Japan, reads a press release.

United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (Unido) ITPO Tokyo, Japan External Trade Organisation (Jetro) and Bangladesh Embassy in Tokyo provided all support in arranging the events.

The event in Fukuoka was supported by the Fukuoka Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Fukuoka Foreign Trade Association.

It has already been informed that fourteen Bangladeshi companies in the areas of engineering, construction, logistics, shipping, SEZ management, ICT Park, real estate and hospitality, health and beauty, machinery, tools, automobiles, consultancy, banking and finance will participate in the program for possible business collaboration with Japanese companies.

Minister Commercial of the Bangladesh Embassy and Director of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (Bida), who was deputed at the Unido ITPO Tokyo as Bangladesh Delegate spoke about the investment situation in Bangladesh.

The Director-Strategy of Haison International explained the business behaviour and the real aspects of investment in the event. 

A Japanese company that has active business operations in Bangladesh informed the Japanese companies about his experiences of doing business in Bangladesh.

In the morning, all the participants from Bangladesh visited Nissan Motors' Kyushu Plant. It was a great experience for the Bangladeshi participants to see the Japanese technology in the production process, painting, inspection and delivery of vehicles from the plant.

A similar program will be held in Osaka and Tokyo on May 24 and 25. It is expected that a large number of Japanese companies will participate in the next events and interact with Bangladeshi companies for business cooperation.
