The grand opening ceremony of the 2nd VRM of Aman Cement was held recently in Dhaka with more than 500 dealers, corporate customers and well-wishers of Aman Cement.
The slogan of this program was "Build the country on the path of infinite possibilities every day," reads a press release.
Asaduzzaman Khan, Minister of Home Affairs was the chief guest and Tipu Munshi, Minister of Commerce were present as special guests on the occasion.
In the opening speech of the program, Syed Abu Abed Saher, chief executive officer (CEO) of Aman Cement said that, by increasing the production capacity of another 5,000 tons per day, AmanCem Unit-2 is now at its full capacity, that is, 10,000 tons or 2 lakh bags production capacity per day & going to enter a new golden era.
In the speech of the chief guest, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said: “Industry should be taken forward to advance the country. The country is moving forward under the leadership of the government. The government is changing the country. The government is now moving towards Smart Bangladesh. Best wishes for Aman Cement's new venture.”
Chairman of Aman Group Rafiqul Islam said that Aman Group has been dedicated to the people and the development of the country since its inception in 1984.
“Aman Group is constantly working through relentless efforts in various branches of trade including food, clothing and accommodation with the aim of earning foreign exchange and fulfilling the basic needs of people through employment of more than 17 thousand people,” he added.
In continuation of this, AmanCem will be able to play a major role in meeting the growing demand of the country's cement market by increasing the capacity through two VRMs of German technology.
