Nazli Karim, director of Emkay Enterprises Ltd, and wife of late Masih-Ul-Karim, passed away on Saturday. She was 82.
Her namaz-e-janaza was held at Baridhara Jame Masjid on Sunday.
She completed her MSc from Dhaka University, and apart from her position as director of Emkay Enterprises, she was also former research officer at the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR), a former faculty at Eden Mohila College, principal at Sunshine Grammar College and Bawa School and College, as well as president of the Bangladesh chapter of Inner Wheel Club.
Of note, her husband Masih-Ul-Karim, chairman of Emkay Enterprises, and also former managing director of Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd, passed away on November 17 last year.
He was managing director of Berger Paints Bangladesh from 1992 until 2007, after which he was appointed as its adviser and board member.
