The National Board of Revenue (NBR) is going to hold its tax service month from the beginning of next month to facilitate taxpayers' return submissions.
Instead of holding an income tax fair like the before, this time the tax administrator will receive income tax returns throughout November 30 in all tax zones, the revenue authority said in a press release on Wednesday.
Taxpayers can file their personal income tax returns for the tax year of 2022-23 from their designated tax zones during the month.
The comprehensive tax service delivery program aims at developing a tax culture, increasing tax awareness and gaining the trust and confidence of the respected taxpayers, according to the statement.
The month-long program will be launched on November 1 at the NBR conference room where NBR chairman Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem will be present as the chief guest.
A total of 649 circles in 31 tax zones across the country will receive income tax returns uninterruptedly during office hours until the end of the month, the release added.
