Hotel Sarina Dhaka is arranging a Bengali food festival which has started on October 5 and will continue till October 12 2022, from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm.
This is a quintessential Bengali Food festival where authentic, delectable Bengali delicacies made from age-old recipes from Bengali kitchens will be served.
To celebrate the scrumptious culinary diversity of both sides of Bengal the menu has authentic dishes from both sides.
The menu has been crafted skillfully with around 100 items and the subtle blend of Bengali flavours is highlighted to satisfy the endless appetite of foodies.
At the festival, there will be six counters, two live sections, and one beverage counter.
The whole décor is in the theme of rickshaw painting and traditional themes to celebrate the Bengali heritage.
In the celebration of the deshi food festival, there is a dedicated corner of “Dhakai Street Food” where Aloo Chaat, Aloo Chop, Muri Moshla, Doi Fuchka, Doi Bora, Kolija Singara, Chana Moshla, Dhakai Fuchka Dim Die, Chotpoti, and many more items will be served.
Dawat ‘e’ Gosht and “Saksobji ar onno kichu” will serve authentic Biriyani, Beef, Mutton, Fish, Seafood curries, and more from various parts of the country.
There will be Mutton Dhakai Kacchi, Beef Tehari, Chicken Pakki Biryani, Beef Razala, Koi Maach Bhuna, Mutton Mejbani Bhuna, Chuijhal beef and many more.
There is Bhaat ‘o’ Bhorta and Moghlai Kebab corner where the kebabs will be cooked live.
There will be Mutton Seekh Kebab, Tandoori Murg, Chicken Reshmi Kebab, Mutton Burrah Kebab, Chicken Boti Kebab, Chicken Afghanimurgh, Chicken Hariyali Murgh, Chicken Champ, etc.
Alongside, there are chutneys, Raita, and an assortment of Naans too.
Nobanno Pitha Stall is to celebrate a new seasonal harvest; there will be different types of ‘Pitha’; country rice cakes to entice the sweet and savoury palate, with a choice of toppings and accompaniments.
There will be deshi serbets such as Lebur Sorbot, Lacchi, Kodbeler Sorbot etc as well as unlimited ice cream station.
