An agreement between International Leasing and Financial Services Limited (ILFSL) and Sonar Bangla Capital Management Limited (SBCML) have been signed.
The agreement is aimed at facilitating corporate-advisory and issue-management services in Dhaka, reads a press release. The agreement signing ceremony was held at the head office of ILFSL at DR Tower in Paltan in the presence of both companies’ senior officials.
ILFSL Chairman Md Nazrul Islam Khan, its Acting Managing Director Md Moshiur Rahman and SBCML Chief Executive Officer Imam Hossain signed the MoU on their respective organizations.
At the signing ceremony, ILFSL Board of Directors Member Syed Abu Nasser Bakhtiar Ahmed, Mohammad Shafiqul Islam, Brigadier General (Retd) Mohammad Meftaul Karim, Barrister Muhammad Ashraf Ali, Mohammad Enamul Hasan and senior officials of SBCML were present among others.
Earlier, the ILFSL Board of Directors has given approval of the MoU to sign with SBCML to convert the deposits and liabilities of the non-banking financial institution into shares.
It has also decided to implement the share conversion process subject to the approval of all regulatory bodies.
