The Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) organized the BPC Asia 2022 on September 15-16 at the Hotel Novotel in Mumbai, India.

This is considered to be the largest event in Asia for professionals in the field of making proposals, bids and tenders, capture and business development, and graphics, reads a press release.

After much success in the US and Europe, BPC Asia is the very first such event in the whole Asian region. The summit intends to provide a learning platform for like-minded participants to network and enhance their knowledge and skills.

It works as a teaching platform which raises the bar of professional competency of the participants, as they learn from experts on how to improve their business acumen.

This two-day grand event was organized by APMP India Chapter. Steven Coles, CPP APMP, Chair - APMP HQ and Abhijit Majumdar, CPP, CAP APMP, Chair, APMP India Chapter, inaugurated the ceremony while Rick Harris, CP APMP, CEO, APMP HQ was present for the closing remarks.

With over 200 bid and proposal delegates from around the world, the event was a two-day celebration of industry wins, enlightening talks and like-minded industry enthusiasts. A series of roundtable discussions, individual talks, and learning and training sessions made the event extremely engaging and enriching.

A gala dinner was arranged for the participants, followed by a special award distribution ceremony.

From Bangladesh, AM Al-Amin, currently working as an individual public-private partnership (PPP) Specialist in PPP Authority, attended the program.

A fruitful discussion took place among the Global CEO, other high-ups of APMP, and Amin with the agenda of bringing a chapter to Bangladesh, which ended on a highly optimistic note.

It is expected that a chapter in Dhaka will commence very soon. Amin spoke in the ‘Best Practice in the Proposal/Bid Industry’ and was also awarded the ‘Business Enabler-Best Practice’ prize at the event.
