Square Food and Beverage Limited’s brand Radhuni’s popular show ‘Shera Radhuni’ is coming with a new season. Registration for the seventh season of ‘Shera Radhuni 1429’ has started with the slogan “Become a bright star in the world of cooking”.
‘Shera Radhuni 1429’, a competition to find the best culinary artist in various cuisines from all over Bangladesh, will be aired on Maasranga Television, reads a press release.
In continuation of the unique and successful events of the last few seasons of ‘Shera Radhuni’, this year’s event also has a glimpse of innovation and entertaining competition.
As usual, there will be exciting episodes, intense cooking battles, tough judging, along with beautiful visuals.
COO of Square Food and Beverage Limited Parvez Saiful Islam along with the Head of Marketing of the same company Imtiaz Firoze and CEO of Mediacom Limited and Executive Director of Maasranga Television, Ajoy Kumar Kundu announced the official opening of this year’s ‘Shera Radhuni’ in a press conference at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel ballroom in Dhaka on September 20.
Three expert judges of the competition- internationally renowned Chef Subhabrata Maitra, Culinary Expert Rahima Sultana Rita, Actress and Media Personality Dilara Hanif Purnima, along with senior officials from Square Food and Beverage Limited, Mediacom Limited and Maasranga Television were also present at the event.
Registration for ‘Shera Radhuni 1429’ competition will start on September 20 and continue till October 20.
Any Bangladeshi citizen above 18 years of age can participate in this competition. To participate in this year’s competition, contestants need to submit their own recipe (Word file or photo of handwritten recipe), photos of prepared food, and competitor’s photo and other information on Shera Radhuni’s own website www.sheraradhuni.com or anyone can register at ‘Shera Radhuni 1429’ directly by post or by courier to SFBL Tower, Road-27, 11/C, Banani, Dhaka-1213.
The audition rounds will be held by dividing the whole of Bangladesh into eight different divisions to select the ‘Shera Radhuni’.
After another competition, the selected contestants will be chosen for the studio round. The ‘Shera Radhuni 1429’ will be selected based on various skills in the studio round of the competition.
Besides expertise in different genres of cooking and presentation, the contestants will also be judged on self-presentation, speech, personality, sales skills, leadership skills, ability to run a food business, and the quickness with and ability to handle various situations.
The winner will win Tk15 lakh as prize money. The first and second runners-up will get Tk10 lakh and Tk5 lakh respectively.
Rules of Participation:
Submit your own cooking recipes, food photos, photos of yourself and required information* to participate
*Required Information: Name, Age, Address, Occupation, Mobile Number, Email, National Identity Card/Birth Registration/Passport Number and declare if you have participated in ‘Shera Radhuni’ before, if yes mention the year and position achieved
- Participants must be Bangladeshi citizen
- Participants must be at least 18 years of age as on October 20
- The last date of registration is October 20
- Contestants who participated in the Studio Round of ‘Shera Radhuni 1427’ cannot register for ‘Shera Radhuni 1429’
You can also participate in ‘Shera Randhuni 1429’ by sending your recipe, photo of food and your photo via courier to SFBL Tower, Road-27, 11/C, Banani, Dhaka-1213
Rules of Competition
- Contestants will be called for divisional auditions if the recipe is selected by the judges
- Food of the selected recipe for the audition must be prepared and brought on the day of the audition
- Participants will be invited to Grand Audition held in Dhaka after successfully preparing the food and attending the verbal test.
