Mutual Trust Bank Limited (MTB) has signed an agreement with Bangladesh Bank to disburse loans at a 7% interest rate under the “Refinance Scheme against Term Loans to Cottage, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (CMSME) Sectors”
Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Abdur Rouf Talukder graced the signing program as the chief guest while Deputy Governor Abu Farah Md Nasser was present as the special guest, reads a press release.
Md Obaidul Hoque, executive director of Bangladesh was also present during the event.
Syed Mahbubur Rahman, managing director and CEO of MTB and Md Jaker Hossain, director, SME and Special Programs Department of Bangladesh Bank signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organization.
