M Kamal Hossain, managing director of Southeast Bank Limited received an award from Fazle Kabir, governor of Bangladesh Bank for Recognition of “Sustainable Rating 2021” at a “Sustainable Rating Recognition Ceremony” organized by the Bangladesh Bank as one of the top ten banks.
Bangladesh Bank gives this award to the banks which are leading in four indicators, reads a press release.
For the second time, Bangladesh Bank has published Sustainable Rating 2021 for banks and Financial Institutions (NBFIs).
The four indicators on the basis of which these ratings have been formulated are the Sustainable Finance Indicator, Green Refinance, Corporate Social Responsibility Program (CSR) and Core Banking Sustainability.
