For the fourth time, Md Habib Ullah Dawn was elected uncontested as the president of the Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers Association (BARVIDA).
According to a press announcement from the organization on June 21, Mohammed Shahidul Islam was chosen as the secretary-general without any opposition.
Aslam Serniabath, Reaz Rahman, and Md Gias Uddin Chowdhury have been chosen as the organization's Vice Presidents 1, 2, and 3, respectively.
The outcome of the election was declared by Md Selim Hossen, chairman of BARVIDA (election board 2022–2024).
Earlier, on June 18, 2022, 639 people participated in the biannual election, which saw 25 of 62 candidates elected.
Md Aslam Serniabath won the election for the position of vice president-1 after competing against Alhaj Jafar Ahmed and Abu Hossain Bhuiyan (Ranu).
Md Gias Uddin Chowdhury, won the position of vice president-3 after running against Mohd Saiful Islam.
Members of the election board including Tania Islam, Md Aminul Islam, and BARVIDA Administrator Sadeq Ahmed were also present.
