Standard Bank has taken a remarkable step by signing an agreement with Pragati Life Insurance to provide group health insurance for the employees of Standard Bank on Sunday.
Managing Director and CEO of Standard Bank Khondoker Rashed Maqsood and Managing Director and CEO of Pragati Life Insurance M Jalalul Azim signed the agreement on behalf of their organizations, reads a press release.
Head of Human Resources Division Alkona K Choudhuri, acting Company Secretary Md Ali Reza, CIPA of Standard Bank and Head of Investment Muhammad Abdullah Saadi of Pragati Life Insurance Limited along with other officials from both organizations were present at the ceremony.
Under this agreement, normal or accidental death or disability of any employee of Standard Bank will be covered under insurance. The cost of doctor's visits, surgery and hospitalization for their medical needs will also be insured.
