NCC Bank organized various events to celebrate its 29th anniversary on Tuesday.
Chairman of the bank Md Abul Bashar inaugurated the anniversary program by cutting cake, reads a press release.
Vice-Chairman Tanzina Ali, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee Md Nurun Newaz Salim, Directors of the bank Sohela Hossain, Khairul Alam Chaklader, Chairman of the Audit Committee Nurul Islam Chowdhury, Chairman of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee Itrat Husain, and Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid were present on the occasion.
Earlier, in the press conference, Managing Director and CEO Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid said, NCC Bank has been working to become one of the top five banks in the country by using innovative technology as well as creating a new generation of customers.
Besides, Additional Managing Director Khondoker Nayeemul Kabir, Deputy Managing Directors M Asheq Rahman, Md Mahbub Alam, Mohd Rafat Ullah Khan and Md Zakir Anam along with members of the Senior Management Team (SMT) were also present on the occasion.
In addition, cake cutting ceremony was held at other branches and sub-branches and a Dua Mahfil was also organized at head office to celebrate the anniversary. Prayer was offered for all the sponsor directors both living and deceased at the Dua Mahfil.
On this occasion, "Shariah-based Islamic Banking" activities are announced to launch soon as well as two new products — NCC Bank NRB Home Loan and Micro ATM — are also announce to launch for customer satisfaction.
“NCC Bank started its glorious journey as a Bank on 17 May, 1993,” said Chairman of NCC Bank Md Abul Bashar.
As such, the bank is now 29 years old, and if the tenure as Financial Institute is considered, it is now 37 years old.
He said that during this long journey, NCC Bank played a remarkable role in the economic prosperity of our country. He mentioned that NCC Bank invested in every sector such as Industrial, RMG, Power and Infrastructural development of our country.
Finally, he added that through establishing accountability, transparency and good governance, NCC Bank has already become one of the leading banks in the country. NCC Bank has been moving forward with the support and trust of its valued customers and he hoped that the progress will continue in the future as well.
