Today, Mastercard, in collaboration with Eastern Bank Ltd (EBL), launched the Aqua Women Prepaid Card in Bangladesh, the first-ever prepaid card in the country exclusively for women.
The card comes with a host of exclusive offers for women, including salons, jewellery shops, e-commerce portals, grocery stores, and clothing outlets, read a press release.
Other benefits include a dual currency facility, faster access to funds globally 24/7, exclusive Bogo (Buy-One-Get-One) hotel-stay offers, dining, and lifestyle offered at over 5500+ partner outlets in Bangladesh, an online bill payment facility, international and local shopping, and access to shops and restaurants throughout the globe.
At the ceremony, Ali Reza Iftekhar, managing director and CEO, Eastern Bank Ltd; Syed Mohammad Kamal, country manager, Mastercard Bangladesh; and dignitaries from different organizations, along with senior officials from respective organizations, took part.
