German Business Council (GBC), an association representing German companies working in Bangladesh, welcomed the newly-appointed German Ambassador Achim Tröster.
The board of trustees of GBC led by its Chairman Sazzadul Hassan, managing director of BASF Bangladesh, paid a courtesy visit to Ambassador at his residence in the capital on Monday.
Achim Tröster expressed his full support and cooperation to GBC and hoped that the German companies would continue to contribute to the impressive growth trajectory of Bangladesh.
He expressed his satisfaction to see the long-term commitment of the GBC members.
He also reiterated that, Germany being the Bangladesh’s largest trading partner in Europe and the second largest globally, would continue to be partnering in the growth journey of the country.
