DBL Group recently laid foundation for its new industrial park worth $650 million at Shreehatta Economic Zone in Sylhet.
Establishing over 167.6 acres with a total of 10 manufacturing units featuring latest technology, diversified DBL products in this industrial park will create almost 6,000 job opportunities, said a press release.
Ahmad Kaikaus, principal secretary to the prime minister, laid the foundation stone as Chief Guest at the foundation laying ceremony.
Shaikh Yusuf Harun (Senior Secretary), executive chairman, Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (Beza) was also present as special guest.
Senior Secretary of Ministry of Youth & Sports M Akhtar Hossain, DBL Group Chairman Abdul Wahed, Managing Director MA Jabbar, Vice Chairman MA Rahim, and Deputy Managing Director MA Quader were also present in this ceremony.
