Beximco lands IT-related contracts with government agencies

These achievements reinforce Beximco IT Division’s commitment to participate and contribute to the digital transformation of Bangladesh

Bangladesh Export Import Company (Beximco) Ltd's IT Division on Sunday bagged crucial IT-related contracts from three government agencies, with an accumulated value of Tk356.5 crore.

In collaboration with Dohatec New Media and DotGov Solutions LLC USA, Beximco signed a contract worth Tk47.5 crore with the Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU) of the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) under Ministry of Planning to develop an upgraded full-fledged electronic project management information system (e-PMIS), said a press release.

They also received a Tk261 crore project from the Directorate General of Food, where they will collaborate with Tech Mahindra Ltd, India and Tech Valley Networks Ltd, Bangladesh. The contract will be signed soon.

There, they will supply, install and commission of online food stock and market monitoring system financed by the World Bank.

In addition, Beximco Computers Ltd last month signed two contracts worth Tk48 crore with the Bangladesh Computer Council for the establishment of Cyber Range at Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) and IT Lab at the Bangladesh Institute of Administration and Management (BIAM) Foundation.

These achievements reinforce Beximco IT Division’s commitment to participate and contribute to the digital transformation of Bangladesh initiated by the government under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
