As part of its initiatives to reduce the distress and financial hardship of its restaurant partners, HungryNaki on Monday announced it would not take any commission from its partners during the month of Ramadan.
The announcement is part of its HungryNaki Seller Stimulus program, aimed at helping entrepreneurs and enterprises tackle problems created by the Covid-19 pandemic, said a press release.
Other features of the program will include express signup for new restaurant partners, free seller education and complimentary promotional features such as design, in-app placement and discounts.
“The pandemic has caused massive disturbance to multiple businesses countrywide. COVID-19 has put a complete halt to some businesses, whereas others are tackling the financial crises. As the first online food delivery service provider, it is our responsibility to help our partners who might be tackling the same challenges as many businesses across the nation," said Abu Saleh Didar, head of commercial, HungryNaki.
Daraz Bangladesh acquired Hungrynaki in March earlier this year.
The acquisition has been helping Hungrynaki to provide enhanced services to the customers and the partner restaurants countrywide.
The pandemic is boosting the growth of the e-commerce industry, and Hungrynaki, with Daraz Bangladesh’s support, will flourish further and provide more convenience to the restaurants and customers, the release added.
