Ericsson appoints new president

Todd Ashton has been appointed president of Ericsson in Bangladesh, Malaysia and Sri Lanka as of July 1, 2017 Ashton has been with Ericsson for 19 years, having held senior leadership roles across both North America and Europe. He began his career in OSS service, software sales and delivery within the Ericsson Hewlett-Packard joint venture in Sweden. Ashton said: “Bangladesh has consistently registered growth in subscriber additions in the past years. Together with our customers, we will continue to focus on ensuring that the benefits of connectivity are enjoyed by its citizens. I’m excited to take on this challenge and to have the opportunity to lead such a talented team in this dynamic and rapidly developing country.
