Farmers in Thakurgaon got a bumper yield of cauliflower this year. But it is not of much consolation to them as they are selling their produce at Tk 600 per 40 kilograms to middlemen, meaning each head is fetching them just Tk 6. Over at the city markets, a piece of cauliflower is selling at Tk 35.
