Nagad, a digital financial service of the Directorate of Posts, has made arrangements to pay the application fees and registration fees from home using the app, to facilitate the admission process of college students.
A fee of Tk150 is being paid through Nagad after applying online for admission in class XI, which began on August 9, said a press release.
Fees can be easily paid using the Nagad mobile application, USSD or through Nagad entrepreneurs.
With this service, Nagad has made it possible for everyone to stay healthy and safe in order to comply with the health directives announced by the government amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
As of Wednesday, fees have been paid against 1,70,364 applications through Nagad wallets and another 28,364 through entrepreneurs.
After the application processing, when the registration starts from August 26, registration fees of Tk 200 can also be paid through Nagad.
However, at the time of registration or confirmation, admitted students will have to pay Tk2.50 for service charge along with Tk200.
This year all the education boards of the country have arranged the students’ admission in class XI through online.
Aspirants’ students will have to browse to the link http://www.xiclassadmission.gov.bd and apply with proper information.

According to the schedule, the first phase of online application for admission will continue till August 20.
The results of the admission in the first phase will be released on August 25.
Registration will be continued by August 26 to 30 for the first phase.
