E-commerce marketplace Evaly currently has over 200 of its "Evaly Express Shops" across the country for delivering essential commodities (excluding raw and perishable materials such as fish, meat and vegetables) to consumers' doorsteps.
With the aim of delivering products to customers' homes within a minimum of one hour to a maximum of 36 hours, most products are now available at the express shops, said a press release.
The e-commerce platform currently has such shops in 25 districts across the country, including Dhaka, Pabna, Khulna, Comilla, Moulvibazar, Srimangal, Chandpur, Chittagong, Nilphamari, Ishwardi, Sylhet, Thakurgaon, Rajshahi, Naogaon, Patuakhali, Barisal, Magura and more.
Sellers are being offered a bonus of 5% in the express shop to encourage them to sell the products within their maximum retail prices (MRP).
And up to 20% cashback is being paid to the consumers if payments are made through Bkash.
Mohammad Rassel, managing director and CEO, of Evaly said, "We initially started the express shop concept with a total of 26 virtual shops for 13 areas of the capital. At present, more than 200 Evaly Express Shops have opened in more than 25 districts, including the capital. Among them, there are 22 pharmacy express shops for delivery of medicines."
