Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh (CEAB) recently distributed relief materials to 1,000 families in Dhaka, who were in need and fight for survival amid coronavirus pandemic.
President of the association Lin Weiqiang handed over 10 ton rice and 2,000 liter edible oil, and Tk850,000 to the families at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Center (BCFC), while other members of the association were present in the event, said a press release.
The release also informed that the organization will further distribute relief to 2,500 families more soon.
Each family receives 10 kg of rice, 2 liter of edible oil and Tk850, it mentions.
The association came up with the relief under its initiative ‘help them stay home’.
The CEAB is a non-profitable organization comprising 240 member enterprises and 15,000 resident Chinese staffs in Bangladesh.
