Biman offers return flights to Bangkok at Tk20,000

Biman Bangladesh Airlines has announced a special fare for the Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka route, priced at Tk20,000 including all taxes and surcharges, to attract passengers. In addition, the national flag carrier has also increased passengers’ check-in baggage allowance to 30kgs from 20kgs in economy class and up to 40kgs from 30kgs in business class, said Biman in a press release. Furthermore, Business class passengers will be allowed to check-in 45kgs on the return flight, while economy class passengers can bring back 35kgs excluding carry-on luggage. Biman operates six flights per week on the route, using its new Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with flights from Bangkok operating on Sundays, Tuesdays and Saturdays.
