Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture Bangladesh (SFSA Bangladesh) and ACI Motors Ltd signed a deal in Dhaka recently to provide farm mechanization service solutions to the commercial farmers by introducing large-scale farm machines in Bangladesh.
Robert Berlin, head of agricultural services, digital delivery and country programs at SFSA; Farhad Zamil, country director, SFSA Bangladesh ; FH Ansary, managing director, and Subrata Ranjan Das, executive director of ACI Motors Ltd, were present at the signing ceremony, said a press release.
This togetherness for end to end solution and create service provision for commercial farmers which reflects utilization and profitable of machines available and affordable at root level.
Agri-mechanization is the only way to boost crop production, and reduce the labour wages for our smallholder farmers.
ACI Motors Ltd. has been working in this field since 2007.
Nowadays, they are known as the only source of countrywide distributor of popular agri-machineries.
SFSA Bangladeshstarted its journey since 2011 with the aim of improving livelihood of smallholder farmers through different development projects for sustainable agriculture technologies and activation of value chains that help farmers to increase food production, improve access to markets, and mitigate risks.
