After the success of the country’s first, second, and third UX Boot Camps in 2016, 2017 and 2018, respectively, Userhub is organizing the fourth UX Boot Camp on user experience and design thinking on April 6, at the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro.
The UX Boot Camp is a day-long event where participants will sit through a series of informative presentations on the importance of user experience and human-centered design, and career development in UX Design, according to a press release.
Speaking about the event, CEO and Co-founder of Userhub Nilim Ahsan, stated: “Online shopping is turning out to be a necessity in making our lives easier. In order to hold on to customers, e-commerce entrepreneurs must ensure that the complete journey—starting from entering the site to the delivery—satisfies the consumer."
The boot camp will host speeches by: Peter Morville, founder and president of Semantic Studios; Eric Reiss, author of best-selling book Usable Usability and CEO of FatDUX Group; Userhub CXO and Co-founder Wahid bin Ahsan; and CEO Nilim Ahsan.
Claiming the e-commerce industry in Bangladesh to be all set to grow as the internet becomes more readily available to the people, Wahid said: "People every day are making the conscious decision of buying products online as e-commerce platforms are providing consumers with a greater variety of choices and helping them save both time and energy required to visit physical shops.
“UX Design Boot Camp 2019, we will focus on the issues that e-commerce services face while trying to provide customers with a good experience,” he added.
The "Design Thinking" workshop will be facilitated by Wahid, while the "UX Design: Mentors of Design Thinking" workshop will be hosted by Userhub UX Designers Reham Karim, Ashfaq Mahmood Rafi, and Muhammed Imran; Graphic Designer Umme Kulsum; Pathao UX Researcher Rezaur Rahman Shahed; Freelance Web Developer Kazi Mamun; and Graphic and UI Designer of Dnet Tayeba Habib Shiza.
