Mirpur Club Limited was inaugurated at 60/1 Borobagh, Mirpur-1 on Friday. A prayer mahfil on the occasion of its inauguration was held at the club’s premises, according to a press release.
Founder president of the club SM Mahbub Alam spoke on behalf of the club members and guests at the occasion.
In his speech he highlighted the club's objectives and future plans. In the meeting Ambassador Masud Mannan hailed the initiative to establish the Mirpur club.
Abul Khayer, the official of the ICT Ministry, conducted the blessings and prayed for the success and improvement of Mirpur Club.
After the inauguration ceremony, a free discussion was held on the Chakbazar tragedy. Ijazul Haque, vice president of Mirpur club, attended the meeting, among others.
