After import and export was closed for four days, operations at Hili Land Port resumed on Tuesday.
President of the importers group in Hili port Harun ur Rashid said that the operations resumed at 1pm. The laborers working at the port have already begun loading and unloading goods.
He said it might take a day or two for operations to begin in full capacity.
The land port was closed from December 27-31 due to the general election, weekends and bank holiday.
