The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, Royal Thai Government, and The Royal Thai Embassy will jointly organize a “Thailand Week 2018” from 23-26 April, at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel.
Suebask Dangboonrueng, minister counsellor (Commercial) said this event is an effort by the Royal Thai Government to build relations, especially in trade, between the people of Bangladesh and Thailand.
This year, there are 45 Thai companies from Thailand, 33 Bangladeshi companies which import Thai products or are agents of Thai companies.
Various products will be exhibited at the fair. The main categories are auto parts, industrial equipment and hardware, tropical fresh fruit, food and beverage, homeware, gift and decorative items, stationery, baby products, garment, jewelry, footwear, and health and beauty products.
There will also be entertainment including fashion shows and live music every day of the fair by artists from Thailand.
The inauguration of Thailand Week 2018 will take place on 23rd of April 2018 at the Grand Ballroom, Pan Pacific Sonargaon, with Tofail Ahmed, minister of Commerce as chief guest.
