Ceramic products are on high demand at this year’s Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF), according to the sales attendants of several ceramic product stalls.
“A lot of customers have been visiting our stalls to see and buy our products,” said a salesman working at RFL company’s Easy Build stall in the fair. RFL’s Easy Build stall had been selling a wide range of ceramic products that include tiles and sanitary products from different companies, such as DBL Ceramics, Star Ceramics, Shinepukur Ceramics, and MIR Ceramics.
ustomers at these stalls said they were looking for well-designed ceramic products for household uses, and they were willing to pay good money for quality products.
Speaking to the Dhaka Tribune, Corporate Sales and Marketing Executive of Akij Ceramics Md Sazzadur Rahman said their pavilion, Akij Builders, had seen a good turnout of customers since the beginning of the fair.
“We are displaying a few of our exclusive designs at the DITF that are currently not available at any of our showrooms,” he added. “We offer discounts on our tile products based on the amount of purchase,” Sazzadur explained.
“However, the products in here are just for display. Our deliveries are made directly from the factory.”
Akij Builders brought different building materials including ceramic tiles, sanitary products, cement, particle boards, UPVC pipe fittings, and others at the DITF to entice customers. Celebrity visits to their stalls on different occasions had also attracted a large number of customers to their pavilion.
