Rain or thundershowers are likely in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9am on Thursday, said the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
"Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind are likely to occur at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong, and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rajshahi and Dhaka divisions," said a Met office bulletin issued in the morning.
The bulletin also said moderately heavy to heavy rainfall may occur at places across the country.
Day and night temperatures may fall slightly over the country.
The highest temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 35.8°C in Ishurdi under Rajshahi division, while Thursday's minimum temperature was recorded at 23.3°C in Sylhet.
In the last 24 hours till 6am on Thursday, Sreemangal recorded the highest rainfall of 46 millimetres.
The sun will set at 6:49pm on Thursday and rise at 5:21am on Friday in Dhaka.
