Border Guard Bangladesh on Thursday detained 30 Rohingyas who were trying to flee to India from Comilla’s Burichang upazila.
The detained included 16 children, eight women and six men. They were members of five families and lived at Kutupalong Transit Camp in Ukhia of Cox’s Bazar.
According to police sources, they escaped from the Kutupalong Transit Camp in Cox's Bazar onWednesday night. Later, the Khadera BGB camp members arrested them at the Khadera border of Burichang, Comilla, bordering India.
Police Officer-in-Charge Maruf Rahman said that arrangements are being made to send them back to the camp.
