State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid said that team effort and eagerness can play a major role in success in the power sector.
“It is a must to work together to meet challenges for uninterrupted and affordable power supply across the country,” he said at a view exchange meeting with Power Division officials at his ministry conference room.
The power division organized the view exchange meeting after obtaining the first position to implement the Annual Performance Agreement (APA) in the financial year 2022-23.
The state minister said that the achievement of the Independence Award or the Digital Bangladesh Award has been associated with the achievements of the Power Division.
“Consumers' aspiration is being increased as they got electricity during the present government tenure. Quality and uninterrupted power at an affordable price is now one of the demands of consumers,” he added.
Nasrul Hamid said: “United effort should be made to meet this demand. Smart meter, smart grid, SCADA, ERP, underground distribution and transmission system, big data analysis and successful use of artificial intelligent technology is a time befitting demand.”
