State Minister for Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid urged Turkey to invest in the power, fuel and mineral resources sector in Bangladesh.
He said this during a courtesy meeting with Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh Ramis Sen in his office at the Secretariat on Sunday.
During this time, they discussed various issues related to mutual interest.
He shed light on various sub-sectors of these sectors, including discussions on culture, import-export, economic status, investment, electricity and fuel sector, among others, of both countries.
The ambassador invited the state minister to attend the centenary ceremony of the declaration of the Republic of Turkey.
