There will be no gas supply in several areas of Narayanganj for around four hours on Thursday due to maintenance work on gas pipeline, officials say.
In a statement on Wednesday, Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company said that supply would remain suspended from 9am to 1pm in areas between Tarabo and Araihajar of Narayanganj.
Household consumers, CNG stations and industries in areas adjacent to Tarabo and Araihajar may also experience low pressure in supply, said the statement.

Earlier, residents in many parts of Dhaka were left without gas due to a blunder in the Titas Gas maintenance schedule on the first day of Ramadan on Sunday.
Residents of Dhanmondi, Mohammadpur, some parts of Mirpur, Bashundhara residential area, Azimpur, Lalbagh, Narinda, Wari, Tikatuly, Green Road, Motijheel, and Agargaon experienced extremely low pressure of gas in their burners throughout the day.
Asked about the matter, Titas Director of Operations Selim Miah told Dhaka Tribune that the gas shortage was the result of maintenance work at the Bibiyana gas field in Habiganj.
