Parts of the capital city will suffer a gas outage for 10 hours on Wednesday, due to the shifting of gas pipelines in several parts of northern Dhaka city.
Household, commercial, industrial and CNG consumers will suffer the inconvenience from 10am to 8pm, said a press release from the Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited.
Shyampur Industrial Area, Kadamtali, Jurain, the east and west bank of Dholai Khal, Donia (partial), Jatrabari Shaheed Faruq Road (both sides), Commissioner Road, Medical Road, Mir Hazaribagh (partial) and nearby areas will be affected by the gas outage.
The pipeline that lies under the Juraijn Railway Overbridge alignment needs to be relocated for the Dhaka-Khulna (N-8) Highway development project, the press release added.
