A group of foreign diplomats working in Bangladesh including the European Union have visited BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's Gulshan office following attack on her motorcade in the capital on Monday.
Khaleda’s press wing official Shairul Kabir Khan told this to the Dhaka Tribune.
The envoys held a meeting with BNP chief Khaleda Zia. The BNP leaders were present during the time.
The BNP has briefed the foreign diplomats working in Bangladesh about attack on its Chairperson Khaleda Zia's motorcade while the diplomats visited Khaleda's office to see the damages.
Diplomats of United Kingdom, Russia, France, Australia, Canada, Turkey, Japan, Singapore, Denmark, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, India, Pakistan, European Union and some other diplomats of different countries went to Khaleda' Gulshan office on Tuesday afternoon.
From BNP sides, party's standing committee member Abdul Moyeen Khan, adviser to Khaleda Sabihuddin Ahmed and international affairs secretary Gias Kader Chowdhury were present.
The BNP delegates briefed the diplomats about the incident and then showed them Khaleda's motorcade vehicles those were vandalised and attacked.
Neither the diplomats nor the BNP leaders said anything about the meeting.
