BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia is set to visit the party's central office in Nayapaltan in the afternoon to attend the Pohela Boishakh celebration.
She will be visiting the Nayapaltan office after two years.
“The BNP chief will go to Nayapaltan office around 4pm,” Sayrul Kabir Khan, a press wing member of the BNP chairperson told the Dhaka Tribune.
Jatiyatabadi Samajik Sangskritik Sangstha (Jasas), a pro-BNP organisation, has organised the programme to observe the first day of Bangla New Year.
Khaleda had last visited her party’s Nayapaltan headquarters in 2013.
