A meeting of the ruling Awami League-led 14-party alliance will be held on March 31 for discussions on the political situation and candidate nomination for the city corporation polls.
AL sources said in the meeting ruling alliance central leaders will discuss and share views about recent political situation and further activities of the alliance.
They will also discuss candidate nomination from the ruling alliance to contest in each of the city corporation elections against BNP-Jamaat backed nominees.
The meeting will begin at 11am at Awami League President Sheikh Hasina’s political office at Dhanmondi in the capital, said a press release. Spokesman of the 14-party alliance Health Minister Mohammad Nasim urged all concerned to attend the meeting on time.
