Terming the alliance of the BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami a platform for terrorists and militants, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged people from all walks of life to resist BNP-Jamaat’s political programmes which are killing innocent people.
Speaking at a discussion in the capital’s Bangabandhu International Conference Centre yesterday, she also called BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia the queen of militancy and said there was no place for BNP-Jamaat’s terrorist and militant activities in Bangladesh.
“Khaleda’s only duty is to kill innocent people to create anarchy in the country; she aims to grab power at any cost. She is the queen of destruction … the queen of militancy. But I am warning her now: there will be no place for any terrorist and militancy,” the premier said.
