Salahuddin's wife to seek PM's intervention

Update : 17 Mar 2015, 01:42 PM

Missing BNP leader Salahuddin Ahmed's wife Hasina Ahmed says she will seek Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's intervention to get back her husband.

She said this when a delegation of University Teachers’ Association of Bangladesh went to meet her at her residence in Dhaka.

“My husband is missing for last eight days. We have been passing the days with extreme anxiety,” said Hasina.

“I will appeal to the prime minister soon seeking her intervention to get my husband back."

Hasina, a former lawmaker, sought nation's cooperation to get her husband back.

BNP and Salahuddin's family alleged that party's joint secretary general was picked up by law enforcers on March 10 from a residence of Uttara but the law enforcers denied the claim.
