“Discipline is the very important and there are some problems in the grass-root levels of the party while the senior leaders of the party are using their followers for realizing their personal interests which are suicidal for them”, said the minister to the journalists in a view exchange meeting with the senior journalists’ leaders.
The view exchange meeting was held at Chittagong Press Club around 8am while the newly selected AL’s organising secretary Barrister Chowdhury Muhibul Hasan Nowfel, local Members of parliament Samsul Alam, Enamul Haque Shameem and senior AL leaders in Chittagong, among others were present.
“Like road and transport sector, discipline would be restored in the party and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will take stern against any disorder. I am also taking the issue seriously. No one will be spared if anyone found guilty whoever he is”, said the minister.
Responding to a question, the minister said the party would think about the nomination of the MPs whose role is questionable to their respective constituencies and who has also lost his acceptance to his local people in the next election in 2019.
However, the minster hoped that he would be overcome all the problems and establish unity in the party under the leadership of PM Sheikh Hasina.
