A Dhaka court has placed BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on a three-day remand in an arson case filed under Special Power Act.
Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Md Alamgir Kabir Raj passed the order on Sunday afternoon.
Earlier in the day, the Investigation Officer Mosharraf Hossain produced him before the court with a 10-day remand plea.
The court also rejected a bail petition filed by defence lawyer Sanaullah Mia.
