Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said BNP chief Khaleda Zia would have to face trial that a killer is supposed to face.
She said: “What Khaleda Zia is doing cannot be called a movement, rather militant activities, or act of terrorism.”
“None of the people, who are involved in the incidents of killing people, will be spared.”
The premier came up with the forewarning while delivering her unscheduled speech in the Parliament on Tuesday.
She said: “As the whole world is combating militants, we also will not let the militant to operate their activities in Bangladesh. We will do every thing that is required to ensure the security of the people.”
Questioning Khaleda's claim of protecting democracy, the PM said: “How will she protect the democracy by killing innocent people.”
The prime minister also called upon the people to form a committee in each neighborhood against terrorism and militancy.
