The ruling Awami League-led 14-party alliance will hold a rally at Gabtoli Bus Terminal tomorrow as part of its programme to resist ambush attacks on people by BNP-led 20-party alliance.
Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya announced the schedule before a meeting of the Awami League’s Dhaka city unit in the capital yesterday.
Chaired by city unit President MA Aziz, the meeting was also addressed by Food Minister Quamrul Islam and several other leaders.
Maya, also general secretary of city unit, said they would also hold several rallies at major bus terminals and entry points of Dhaka city.
Quamrul said: “All political crisis can be solved through talks. But, terrorism, violence, sabotage and secret attacks can not be stopped by holding dialogue.
