BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has harshly condemned the shooting attack on her Adviser Reaz Rahman.
Miscreants opened fire on Khaleda's adviser Reaz Rahman on Tuesday evening, leaving him seriously injured.
The BNP chief issued a statement over the “deadly” gun attack on her party member on Tuesday night, immediately after the attack was carried out.
In her statement, Khaleda expressed her grievances and concern over the incident. She also alleged that the attack was made after getting instigation from the high ups of the government.
“The government has to shoulder the full responsibility of the attack.”
The former premier also demanded immediate arrest of the criminals.
Issuing a note of warning, the BNP chief said: “Consequences of such planned criminal activities would not be good.”
She held the government responsible for the current “chaotic situation, which the ruling party members have created through killing, abduction, clandestine attack.”
